We offer a range of rejuvenation treatments for the area around the eyes, cheeks, neck, cleavage and hands, depending on the type and depth of the wrinkles. For the eye area, we use anti-wrinkle injections containing hyaluronic acid or autologous fat to treat static wrinkles, another option is to use Botox (botulinum toxin) injections to treat dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines, laugh lines or crow’s feet.

Hyaluronic acid injection

Hyaluronic acid is a well-established anti-wrinkle treatment. The active ingredient is injected into the skin of the cleavage or face with a fine needle. This replenishes the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid levels. The moisture boost will give you younger-looking skin. Upon request, we can use a hyaluronic acid preparation that contains a local anaesthetic, so that the treatment can hardly be felt.

Botox (botulinum toxin)

Facial wrinkles such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet inevitably appear around the eyes, the forehead and the mouth at some stage in our lives. The timing when this occurs depends on our lifestyle and genetic makeup. Wrinkles make us look older and are often associated with a negative, sad or aggressive appearance. The ideal treatment in such case is Botox.

Botox (botulinum toxin) is a prescription drug. In Germany, the treatment can only be performed by a doctor. A German plastic surgeon undergoes 6 years of intensive training in which the doctor acquires extensive knowledge of the human anatomy, muscle function and drug efficacy, in particular for the face. After all, the face is an important channel of communication and identity. With Dr Allan, a specialist in aesthetic medicine, you’ll be in good hands.

Botox is injected with a fine needle directly into the muscle (and the surrounding area) that causes the wrinkling. The drug disables the nerves from transmitting an impulse to tell the facial muscle to contract. When applied correctly, the activity of the muscle is reduced, the induced muscle relaxation corrects the wrinkles and visibly smoothens them.

A very fine injection needle (4 mm long) is used in the treatment. You may experience a brief, light burning sensation. The aesthetic effect will be visible after a few days.

Wrinkle treatment with fat transfer

When treating wrinkles with fat, we use your own body fat for injections instead of artificial substances. In this procedure, small amounts of fat are taken out of areas with excess (e.g. belly, hips), the fat is then processed in a special technique and used to fill the wrinkles. This allows relatively deep wrinkles to be smoothened in a gentle and long-lasting manner. This procedure is particularly suitable for patients who have intolerances or allergies to substances such as hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin (Botox). Another positive effect, of the procedure, is the rejuvenation of the surrounding tissue, as the autologous fat contains a high proportion of stem cells.
